Washington State Policy & Advocacy

Enacting policies and building systems that support children and families across Washington state.

Our Work

Our policy and advocacy work taps into the expertise that Start Early has built over its 40-year history as a leader in early learning program and policy work.

We work at the legislative and administrative levels to secure robust, equitable and sustainable state and local policies and funding that prioritizes equitable access to high quality services for Washington state’s youngest children — prenatal through age 5 — and their families.
